8 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | FEBRUARY 2018 | The Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association Annual Meeting of the Membership is April 11. There will be three open positions on the Board of Directors. Each newly elected director will serve a two year term. Any homeowner interested in running for the Board of Directors should fill out a Candidacy Form. Candidacy forms will be available in the administration office beginning Mon., Feb. 5 and must be returned no later than 5 pm on Fri., Feb. 23. The Inspector of Election will review each candidacy form it receives and place all eligible candidates on the ballot. Two "Meet the Candidates" forums will be conducted in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Members will be given the opportunity to ask questions to the candidates running for the Board. The first forum will be held on Mon., March 12 at 6 pm and the second will be Tues., March 13 at 10 am. The Member of Record date is Mon., Feb. 19 and ballots will be mailed to each homeowner on Mon., March 12. 2018 Annual Meeting of the Membership and Election of Directors 2018 is looking to be an exciting year! We will be working on the following: AGE VERIFICATION SURVEY & ID CARDS As required by law, the Association is required to conduct an Age Verification Survey every two-years to prove that 80 percent of the community is 55+. This will require each resident to complete an Age Verification Survey form in 2018. At the same time, the Association will be introducing and implementing a new ID Card system. This ID Card will contain your photograph, name, status, and account number. The ID Card will be required to utilize the restaurant and golf facilities. Staff will be collecting Age Verification Surveys at the same time the ID Cards are issued. Members would be required to have their ID Cards to utilize the restaurant and golf facilities, on May 7, the official "go live" date. Homeowners have until MARCH 1 to get their permanent list updated to five people or less. If your guest list is already within that parameter, then you do not have to take any further action. If you have over five people on your permanent guest list, there are three options you can use to update your list: • Go online to Dwelling Live (Go to sunlakescc.com and on the left-hand side of the page click "Gate Pass System." You will be required to enter your email and password. First time users need their email address and security code (IN CAPS) to access the site. Please call Nicole Solano at 769-6650, if you need assistance.) • Visit the Admin Office • Call the Main Gate 2018 Biennial District Delegate and Alternate District Delegate Election: The Sun Lakes Country Club Homeowners Association District Delegates and Alternate District Delegate Election is held in conjunction with the Annual Membership Meeting and Election of Directors. The District Delegate and Alternate District Delegate election results will be tabulated by the inspector of election on April 11.
