80s Plus Club
Our December entertainment is always our own Sun Lakes Ed
Avina. He sang throughout the meal as people ate and socialized and
his smooth, soothing voice is just the thing for easy listening. He
mixed some Christmas music in with his regular repertoire of club
favorites and he was enjoyed by all.
The 80s Plus Club always meets the second Saturday of the month.
Our February meeting will be in the North Clubhouse for a catered
meal. Please get your reservations and checks for $11 pp to Sandee
at 909-301-9044, 1469 Littler, by the end of the prior month. Spouses
and caregivers are welcome to attend as well. Many members have
brought their visiting children or other out of town visiting guests
also, you just need to let us know in advance for a head count for the
caterer. For information, call Barb at 845-7904.
The Stardust Dancers are accepting new
students, male and female for the coming
year. If you have always wanted to perform
on stage, this is the place for you. New people
are always welcome. You will learn the basics
of performing, and the fine points of how
to look good doing it. All that is required
is the strong desire to learn and perfect
skills taught. The male models have done
exceptionally well for their first performance.
Openings are available. Female classes are
working on a "Calendar Girl" routine for the
July Show.
New dances being prepared for the 2018
season are: "Hello Dolly," "Phantom of the
Opera" and a fun line dance. Come and join
us.
No qualifying necessary. No try-outs. Just
a desire to participate, to improve your health
through exercise, and have fun dancing.
