6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2018 | Happy Valentine's Day! 2018 is ramping up to be a busy year. The Social Committee, Sunshine, the Reader's Theater, and all the clubs, as well as myself, are all planning events to entertain YOU. Meanwhile, your family has requests, your doctor has requirements, and your friends want some one-on-one time as well. What to do? Well, don't stress about it – enjoy it! There are worse things in life than being busy HAVING FUN (maybe the doctor doesn't qualify in this category… haha). So what are these things? Well here are a few you will want to watch for and put on your calendar: • Mardi Gras: Presented by the Social Committee, with Diane Corte in charge, will be a fun time of good food and music on Feb. 17. • Reader's Theater: Putting on their first play of the year on Feb. 24. • Music on the Plaza: A great slate of entertainers coming your way, including the "Killer Dueling Pianos" in April. • Taste of Elegance: Our yearly charity event is on April 15 this year. BTW, I can still use some more volunteers (as much or as little time as you can give). • Bus Tours: The first one on March 4 is to the Kellogg House in Pomona, which includes the Arabian Horse Show. We are also going to Pageant of the Masters in August. That just names a few. Remember to watch for the fliers on the information counter in the Lodge, and the email blasts coming to your home through your computer. If you want to participate, remember to purchase your tickets early, as events sell out and most have limited seating. And if you want to help, give me a call at (951) 325-8188.
