FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2018 39 All are welcome. The game is played with a single card deck, no jokers, and 52 cards. We play three, four, or five at a table. No scheduling necessary. We play on Tuesdays at 6 pm in the Card Room next to the Library. A group has played here at Four Seasons for nine years. Seating is random draw, no partners, individual scores. It is easy to learn, harder to win. Players will teach. Games last approximately two hours. Lowest points win. If you have questions, call Mike Saperstein (951) 769-7909. ~ Mike Saperstein Hearts We play the second Monday and the third Saturday of the month. Every week we have a training table and we welcome everyone. We start at 4 pm on Mondays and 3 pm on Saturdays. This is fun and we are friendly so come on down and check us out. We enjoyed pizza and salad provided by the group and each brought a delicious appetizer or dessert. There were a lot of laughs as we played bridge word scramble and Geri Ralston won with getting all of them right except for one. Go Geri! We enjoy each other's company every week while playing bridge, so it is even more fun when we periodically all get together and eat and, yes, have a little wine and beer! The Bridge for Fun group meets each Monday and Wednesday at noon in the Card Room. For information about Monday's game call Bill Guy at (951) 845- 5627. Bill is also available to teach the game to new players that want to learn. For Wednesday's game call Verina Rector at (951) 769-1687. ~ Tom Halley Rummikub Join us Sundays from 2 to 4 pm. Please try to show up by 1:45 pm as we always welcome help setting up. Have fun with new friends and old friends. Rummikub is played at a table with tiles and a holder for each player's tiles. Players begin with 14 tiles. Initially a player "goes down" putting out a group of at least three tiles totaling 30 points. If unable to play, then you must draw one tile from the remaining Rummikub tiles. Play ends when one person uses all their tiles. Remaining players then add the total numbers of their tiles for a score. Zero is the best score. If you like Rummy and mah jongg, then you would certainly like Rummikub. We play in the Lodge Card Room. We also will set up a learning table for newcomers. Hope to see you there. If you have any questions, call Mike Saperstein, (951) 769-7909. ~ Mike Saperstein Dominoes Sometimes good domino players get in a slump and they disappear for a while; then, suddenly, they make a big comeback. Robert Manuel has been out of the spotlight for a while, just grooving and chilling. But in February he showed up and was the domino champ, winning with 18 games. Congratulations to Robert…keep on winning, man. Dominoes are played every Wednesday and Friday from 5 to 9 pm in the Lodge Game Room. Come on out, join us, and make some new friends. For more information call Jesse at (951) 769- 2035 or Reggie at (951) 769-6483. ~ Marvin Gaines Robert Manuel won 18 games to become the February Champion Even a potluck is fun at Bridge for Fun
