The That's Entertainment hoopla has died down and we are now ready to get
back to our regular schedule. The new Sun Lakes Playhouse is getting ready
for our Readers Theater on May 20. Sue Dunn will direct The Scarlet Pimpernel
and auditions will be on April 25 and 26 at 9 am in the Main Clubhouse Bus
Room. No experience necessary. All parts are read from a script and there are
rehearsals and help to make you a radio star. You finally have a place where that
inner desire can come forth. Our April meeting will provide more information
on the Readers Theater. Our club meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 1
in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. For information call Jan Stapel at 769-8110.
Happy Cookers
The February meeting was a delicious tasting of about 15
different types of soups and stews. What a great and delectable
way to warm ourselves during chilly weather. So until the 21st
remember those fresh garden tastes are waiting for you at Happy
Cookers!
Spring has sprung and so are winter gardens. Are you a self-
proclaimed foodie, a secret gourmet chef, an avid food channel
watcher? Then join the Happy Cookers on April 21 at 11 am in the
South Clubhouse. They meet the fourth Thursday of every month.
The April meeting is all about eating from the garden and breads.
Can you smell them cooking? So come and hear about members'
recipes, tasting samples and friendship. For membership
