| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2018 | 21 Mah Jongg Club The new Mah Jongg cards for 2018 will come out the end of March so It is the perfect time for those of you who are curious about the game to come and learn how to play! The Mah Jongg Club would like to invite you to join us this year and have a fun time playing and socializing. We play every Monday and Thursday from 1 to 3:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. If you want to learn how to play, we have written instructions and someone is always available to teach you. You are welcome to come and observe anytime when we are playing. Hand & Foot Spring is almost here and why not fulfill those New Year's resolutions to try something new in your life. How about trying Hand & Foot, a card game that is easy to learn and a lot of fun to play. We meet each Wednesday in the Lodge Multipurpose Room. Be there promptly at 11:45 am as you will need to find a seat and we start at 11:30 am. You don't need a partner, but you can bring a friend. Bring a snack to share and a smile on your face. Mexican Train If you haven't checked out the Mexican Train group, what are you waiting for? Whether you're an experienced player or a newcomer to the game, everyone is welcome. Our station is located in the Lodge Multipurpose Room and departure time is every Tuesday at 6:30 pm. Early arrival is suggested to ensure a good seat. Scrummage If you're interested in variety, the Scrummage group might be just what you're looking for. This group still enjoys playing Scrabble, but we've expanded our horizons to include other games as well. If you enjoy playing word games or have a family favorite that you would like to share, please come join us. Our primary objectives are to have a good time, learn some new games and keep our brains active. Bid Whist Club The Bid Whist Social Club Fun & Games meets on the first Friday of every month from 2 - 5:30 pm, in the Multipurpose/Card Room. The first hour is spent enjoying an always delicious and abundant potluck. Enjoying each others company is our first priority and winning whist games is our second. Bridge Club Wanted! Bridge players… we meet Tuesday at 1 pm. There is a sign-up sheet in the Game Room. Come have some fun with us! Please be early — don't be late! Double Deck Pinochle Join us Fridays at 10 am in the Lodge Multipurpose Room. We are a small group hoping to expand. Don't know how to play Double Deck Pinochle? We will teach you. It is a lot of fun. For more information, contact Dick Tarpening (951) 766-7613. Bunco Babes Bunco will be on April 27. in the Card Room. All reservations or cancellations MUST be made by April 23. Space is limited to 32 women. We are filling up fast. Due to reservation requirements, we are unable to accept same day walk- ins. Bunco is a game that is very easy to learn and play. We welcome new members to join us. We meet once a month on the fourth Friday. Please feel free to give it a try. If you are new to the neighborhood, it is a nice way to meet people. Let's play! 20-20 Hand & foot canasta In addition to the popular Hand & Foot Canasta group which meets each Wednesday, we now have a new and different game which meets the second and third Friday of each month at 1 pm. It is called 20-20 Hand & Foot Canasta. We call it that because we use 20 cards in your hand and 20 cards in your foot. We invite anyone to attend and if you do not know the game, please call the contacts and we will be happy to teach you the new game. For information call Billye L.
