| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | July 2018 | 9 Here we are at July. Half the year is past already… soon it will be Christmas (noooooo, not yet). We were very pleased at the May board meeting to have Russ Brown present checks for $4,700 each to representatives from two charities: Hallie Odle from Assistance League and Linda Rogers from Valley Restart Shelter. Did you see the "Save the Date" flier in the billing? There is a LOT going on this summer all the way through October (and then it will be Christmas) If you didn't see the flier, here is a list of events for you to watch for: • July Fourth with Golf Cart Parade, pie baking contest and party • Music on the Plaza on July 24 with the Hit City Rockers from 6 - 8 pm • Aug. 2, 16, 23, and 30--Movie Nights on the Plaza • Bus Excursion to Pageant of the Master on Aug. 9 • Car Show on Sept. 8 • Luau Dinner Show on Sept. 29 • Bus Excursion to see the musical Beautiful on Oct. 2 • The Second Fall Marketplace on the Plaza Oct. 13 Watch the information counter for more information about when tickets are on sale, what the movies will be and much more. If you do not get the email blasts, now is the time to sign up so you don't miss out on important information. Did you go to the Troubadour concert and see the lights on the patio? Wasn't that beautiful!?! Those lights will be up all summer, into the fall, so come down and enjoy the view! Speaking of ticket sales, I want to remind everyone about the rules pertaining to purchasing tickets for your friends. If you are going to purchase tickets for your friends, you are limited to 10 tickets total (or one table) and you must have a check from each resident to pay for their own tickets. If guests are allowed for the event, you may pay for your guests, but RESIDENTS MUST PAY FOR THEMSELVES. The only change to that rule is if you are paying with a credit card, then you can pay for everyone at your table (limit one table). Thank you for being considerate and following the rules. A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli Hallie Odle (top photo) from the Assistance League and Linda Rogers from Valley Restart Shelter accept donation checks from Russ Brown Come out and enjoy the new lights on the patio
