Our Bistro survey will be eblasted as soon as headquarter's new Internet system is operating. Hopefully before August has passed you will have received and returned them. Our thanks in advance to those of you that are kind enough to take the time to answer these few questions. I cornered Tina Aldridge between serving our lunches and delayed her long enough to pull a ticket with Mar Jean Powers name on the winning ticket for a free "Sunday Brunch" for two. I snapped her photo while she was enjoying herself at our great Four Season's Fourth of July gathering. I'm sure she was between dances. Those hamburgers and hot dogs sure were tasty and the music was great, while the weather was darn near perfect for July. Can you believe people were still there past 9:30 pm enjoying themselves? I was asked if I would include a message to clarify about when our serve staff tips are included and when not. The only time the tip is included is when it is a sponsored prepaid function usually by one of our many clubs, then tax and tip is added to the price of that meal. The Friday night buffet, Sunday brunch, other special day buffets as well as your dining pleasure at the Bistro are all without tip for service. We all know that tipping is up to the individual but 15% to 20% is normal on the before tax amount, and then if you double the tax it comes out to 18% which makes it easy to figure. Perhaps you don't get as much personal service at a buffet, but remember they still clear away your dirty dishes, replenished the buffet and then clean up after you. Usually in the middle of the tables is a plastic glass that gladly accepts any donation and if you look close is says tips on it. Honestly it is a shame to see how many used and vacated tables are left with empty tip glasses at the buffets. Lastly, for those in charge of ordering meals for your club's banquet dinner or meeting lunch, I'm excited to tell you that Louise, Francisco and I have been working on a simplified pricing menu. It should be in print soon for us to start working with. All of Francisco's many food options will remain the same, just an easier way to make your choices. And that's meāDouble T. ~ Patt 12 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | August 2018 | Bistro Committee Name: __________________________________________ Address: ________________________________________ Phone: __________________________________________ August FREE SUNDAY BRUNCH for 2 at the Bistro at Four Seasons (not valid on holidays or special events) Limited to ONE ENTRY per residence per month Mar Jean Powers, July Brunch Winner
