| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JANUARY 2019 | 23 Happy New Year Ladies… Apologies to everyone for missing the December issue of the Herald due to a change in due date. December was a busy month celebrating Christmas and Hanukkah. We had our last Christmas party. Lots of good food and very nice exchange gifts. In November some of our ladies went to see Menopause the Musical in Upland, a ton of fun and laughter. Our Ladies Club hopes to have a whole new look in "2019." Our current chairman Pat Hall will be stepping down as well as our treasurer, Carol Barber. Please think about volunteering to fill one of those positions or planning an event or outing. Please don't miss our Jan. 28 meeting as we hope to welcome a new Chairman and Treasurer and plan our annual events. Thanks to all of you for your many years of dedication to our Ladies group. Our regular meetings are on the fourth Monday of the month in the Lodge Ballroom at 2 pm. Thought for January: A smile is your greatest social asset… (Zig Ziglar) If you would like further information, please contact Pat Hall at (951) 599-4687 or jphall@prodigy.net Thank you… Pat and Dee. I graduated from Modesto High School in 1972 and went to college in Long Beach, California, graduating as a registered nurse. I went to work for the Long Beach Veterans Hospital. I worked primarily in Cardiology and Intensive care. The job that I really enjoyed was managing and running the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. Assisting with cardiac catheterizations and PTCAs, Stent placements and Pacemaker implants. The last 15 years of my career I was a house supervisor on the night shift. I could not have asked for a more rewarding position serving our veterans who have returned from wars and served in our military. I have been with my significant other Earl for 43 years now. We have now been married five of those years. We both moved to Four Seasons in 2003 and retired in 2009. Boy was I glad. It was quite a commute for those last six years. My hobbies are quite vast. I love decorating, beading, watercolor painting, and quilting. I belong to various organizations to further incorporate new skills into these hobbies. I love living in Four Seasons and doing the Christmas home tour.
