6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2019 |
As many of you know, in November, a special issue of the Hemet
Herald was created to honor our veterans. I am sorry to say that I lost
the info to one of our veterans, so I want to honor him here.

A Note From Your Activities Director By Louise Ceccarelli
ATTENTION VETERANS: The Honor Flight Network was founded by Earl Morse and Jeff Miller to bring veterans to visit their
Memorials for free. "Honor Flight" has 132 chapters or hubs located in 42 states. Over 200,000 veterans have been brought to DC. If you
would like to participate or get more information, please see the website: www.honorflight.org. One of our own veterans, Ernie Hamner,
participated in Honor Flight last September, and greatly enjoyed the trip and will gladly tell you about his experience.
If you didn't receive a copy of the
special issue, we have them here at the
Lodge - they are free. I enjoyed reading
the information and stories provided,
as well as seeing the pictures of then
and now. I think you will as well!
Thank you to all our veterans for your
service.
Taste of Elegance is coming up on
May 19. We need volunteers for all
kinds of duties, so even if you have just
have a few hours to give, or many, we can
use your help. Please send me an email
to Louise.Ceccarelli@fsresidential.com
or call (951) 325-8188 to let me know
you can help. We are also accepting
donations and gift items for this event.
See you around the Lodge!
