38 | OHCC LIVING | APRIL 2019 | The regular monthly Anglers Club meeting is scheduled for Tues., April 9, at 7 pm in the Mykonos Room in the Clubhouse. The program will feature guest speaker Walt Bailey of Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle sharing current information on local fishing and the latest tackle to get ready for our spring and summer fishing trips. All members and guests are invited to attend this or any regular monthly meeting that are held the second Tuesday of the month in the Mykonos room to hear about the latest fishing information. The April local three-quarter day fishing trip is scheduled for Thurs., April 25, on the Pacific Voyager. You may sign up and deposit your check for $126 in the Anglers Club envelope at the front desk, or at the meeting, for this or any of the monthly fishing trips during the year, if space is available. We are planning to fish locally somewhere between La Jolla and the Del Mar coast where you will only need a current California Sportfishing license. We meet in the overflow parking lot and depart by 4:45 am to carpool to Seaforth landing in Mission Bay. The boat departs at 6 am and normally returns about 4 pm. The three quarter day trips are limited to the first 20 anglers who sign up and pay for the trip. You are welcome to sign up a guest if space is available for an addition $5. During the April meeting we will have another 50/50 drawing with a chance for you to win some cash, if your lucky ticket is drawn. Tickets are six for $5, or one dollar each.
