Ladies Putters Group
The Ladies Putters Group held a special event in April. They got
together for "Fun Days" on April 22 and April 26. On these days,
the ladies enjoyed putting for 18 holes, instead of their customary
nine holes. To add to the fun, there was a designated "Secret Hole"
unbeknownst to the players. Anyone hitting a Hole in One on this
specific hole received a prize. Special recognition was given to the
best putters in several categories.
Winners on Monday, April 22:
Lowest Score - Linda Long (33)
Secret Hole - Kathy Moore and Elizabeth Waissman
Closest to the Pin - Elizabeth Waissman
Winners on Friday, April 26:
Lowest Score - Pat Whalen (40)
Secret Hole - no winner
Closest to the Pin - Linda Long
One of the LPG members, Linda Long, got four Holes-in-One on
Monday night. Very impressive putting, Linda!
The LPG will be holding their mid-year awards night on June 27 at
The Summit. We look forward to seeing what has been accomplished
by individual players so far in 2019.
Newcomers are always welcome in the Ladies Putters Group. We
even provide putters and golf balls, if needed. The LPG meets on
Mondays at 6 pm and Fridays at 9 am at The Courts putting green.
