| OHCC LIVING | JUNE 2019 | 35 The regular monthly Anglers Club meeting scheduled for June 11 at 7 pm in the Mykonos Room in the Clubhouse has been cancelled because the June 9 - 11 two-day offshore fishing trip will not be back to port by the time the meeting is scheduled. As of this writing there are still are several places on this June off-shore fishing trip, so sign up, select your bunk and place your check in the folder at the front desk. The next monthly meeting is scheduled for July 9 at 7 pm. The April 25 three-quarter day fishing trip on the Pacific Voyager took 15 eager anglers on our first trip of the year to the Coronado Islands. On a nice day on the ocean, we enjoyed catching 13 quality Yellowtail, 31 Bonito, 18 Calico Bass, and six Rockfish. Bud DeMaris with a 20-pound Yellowtail won the jackpot. We had a fun trip. Our June 9 - 11 two-day trip on the Pacific Voyager may have several spaces available as you read this. The rest of our monthly trips are just about full, with exception of the Oct. 12 overnight trip on the Voyager. You may sign up for any of our other monthly trips as long as space is available, or an alternate and deposit your check along with your sign up. The June 2 day trip should give us the opportunity to catch some yellowtail and tuna offshore, or a variety of fish at San Clemente Island.
