Cost is $5 per class attended after the first class you attend for free. All of our Friday classes have been canceled because our Instructor, Renee Meyst, has resigned. Two professional instructors are teaching their exercise classes in the Clubhouse three times a week as follows: • Cheryl Todd - Chair Yoga on Monday at 11:15 am usually in the Abravanel Hall or Mykonos Room. • Tatis Cervantes-Aiken - Chair-to-Mat Yoga on Tuesday at 8 am in the Men's Club Room (Free class). • Cheryl Todd - Chair Yoga on Wednesday at 11:15 am usually in the Abravanel Hall or Mykonos Room. We hope all of our Ocean Hills Senior Fitness Club members that attended our Annual FREE luncheon in the Abravanal Hall at noon on June 28 had a good time and enjoyed hearing our speaker who is a local Native American, Cathleen Chilcote Wallace, a Native Talk Storyteller, with a story telling presentation and artifact display. The Board of Directors put this luncheon on as a thank you to our members who were able to attend. It was a fun event. Contact one of the Sr. Fitness Club Board Members if you want more information. Senior Fitness Club Tai Chi Hello Tai Chi friends… Please check the weekly Clubhouse schedule before coming to class as the regular room may be changed due to the demand for the rooms by the Clubhouse. Instructor Christine Alisiani leads us Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 to 11 am (weights from 10:50 to 11 am). Cost is $5 per class attended (You can pay for and try out two classes without joining the Club). Annual dues are $6 (Please make check payable to OH Aerobics). Aerobics Ladies and gents, come join this FREE exercise class. We follow along DVD presentations by certified instructor Anne Burnell. This workout program is designed to help us seniors develop strength, stability and balance while seated in chairs. We meet twice a week at 9 am, Wednesdays in the Hall or Mykonos Room and on Fridays at 9 am in the Mykonos Room. Please check the weekly schedule to see which room it is in. Please bring one weight. Stretch & Balance Morning exercise An exercise class is held on Mondays and Fridays, 8 to 9 am in Abravanel Hall. Attendees bring a floor mat and light hand weights for this moderate head-to-toe workout. June Cooper has led this class for many years and does a wonderful job! Come join us! It is free.
