The Four Season 8-Ball Club holds two in-house tournaments each
month; an 8-Ball tournament and a 9-Ball tournament. Most months we
play four additional tournaments. Two away and two at home with Hemet
(Solera) twice and Beaumont (Solera) twice.
In the October in-house 8-Ball tournament, we had 10 players
competing. Leo Babin and Robert Howard were the last two standing. In
the finals, Robert came out on top to become this month's 8-Ball champion.
Congratulations to Robert Howard, this month's 8-Ball champion and
Leo Babin, this month's runner-up. The author was not there to take the
picture of the finalist, but Jone Babin provided the picture for the news
article (thanks Jone).
This month, 11 players competed in the in-house 9-Ball tournament.
When it came to the final, it was Dave Martin and Mike Stawicki locking
horns for the second time in recent months. Back in July, Mike and Dave
battled it out in the final, for the in-house 8-Ball tournament with Mike
as runner-up and Dave as champion. This time for the in-house 9-Ball
tournament Dave is runner-up and Mike is the champion. Congratulations
to Mike Stawicki this month's 9-Ball champion and Dave Martin this
month's runner-up.
The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new residents who like to play pool
to join us. The club plays or practices Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays
6:30 to 9 pm. There is a calendar of our events in the Billiards Room on
the 8-Ball Club bulletin board. Come on out for the fun and give us a try.
