FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2020 59 The Four Season 8-Ball Club holds two in-house tournaments each month. An 8-Ball tournament and a 9-Ball tournament. Most months we play four additional tournaments against Hemet (Solera) and Cherry Valley (Solera). Each community travels here once each month and we travel to their community once each month. They are great people and we have a great time, win or lose. In the November in-house 8-Ball tournament, we had 10 players competing. Dave Martin, last month's runner-up in 9-Ball was this month's runner-up in 8-Ball. Who knows what next month will bring for Dave? Robert Howard was the last player standing when the 8-Ball tournament finished. Congratulations to Robert, this month's 8-Ball champion and Dave Martin, this month's runner-up. Nine players competed in the in- house 9-Ball tournament this month. In the fourth round, Rocket Spinosa sent Larry Rice to the loser bracket where Larry was able to win against Rick Loney to make it back to the final. Larry was able to stage a comeback win against Rocket. Congratulations to Larry Rice, this month's 9-Ball champion and Rocket Spinosa, this month's runner-up. The 8-Ball Club is always looking for new, Four Seasons residents who like to play pool to join us. The club plays or practices Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights from 6:30 until 9 pm. There is a calendar of our events in the Billiards Room on the 8-Ball Club bulletin board.
