| OHCC LIVING | FEBRUARY 2020 | 33 The Ocean Hills Angler's Club is planning another exciting year of fishing in the Pacific Ocean, social activities, golf tournaments, and fellowship. President Lawrence Aiken wanted to thank those who rejoined our club for 2020 and welcome the new members who signed up on Do Dues Day. If you are interested in joining the OH Anglers Club you may sign up at one of our monthly membership meetings. Our next meeting will be held in the Mykonos room Feb. 11 at 7 pm, or drop off a $10 check at the front desk, Anglers envelope, and in the memo field write "2020 OHA member dues." At our February meeting you may sign up for any of our eight scheduled fishing trips for 2020 by writing a separate check for each trip, signing up on the sign-up sheet in the Clubhouse or at any meeting. Anglers Club The RV Club Progressive Holiday Party turned out to be a wonderful experience for all. Each participant was welcomed into three "holiday decorated" OHCC homes, and were treated to delicious finger foods prepared by caterer "Bobby's Hideaway." After the three homes, the final stop of the progressive party was Abravanel Hall where we enjoyed desserts, announcements, and holiday songs. Thank you to VP Social Meddy Carso and her team of helpers for making this all possible. Also thank you to those who opened their homes for this special event: Jim and Veronica Chapman, Bill and Jackie Crosby, Jerry and Nancy Gayvert, Jim and Bev Gillian, Jeff and Linda Hurley, Roger and Jo Marr, Charlie Washburne and Celso DeOliveira. In case you have not heard, here is the list of RV Club Board members for 2020: Jan Lopez - President; Bob Becker - VP of Lots and HOA Liason; Barb Becker - Secretary; Mel Feintuch - Treasurer; Skip Harvey - VP of Trips; Tatis Cervantis Aiken - VP Social; and Jack Shabel - VP Membership. At Do Dues Day 2020, the RV Club was again on hand and served almost 300 hot dogs. The next general meeting will be on Tues., March 24, in Abravanel Hall. Social time starts at 7 pm, and business meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
