Women's Evening Bible Study "One step must start each journey. One word must start each prayer. One hope will raise our spirits. One touch can show we care." ~ Author unknown The women in our Bible Study are on a journey together in God's word. We trust His Word to guide and strengthen us as we take each step. Our path continues through the Parables of Jesus and we have learned so much to help us along the way. Jesus has taught us about faith, hope, prayer, forgiveness, wisdom, humility, and unconditional love. We invite all women of Four Seasons to join us. We want to lift your spirits, give you hope, pray for you, and truly show that we care. The time will come when we will meet again in The Lodge. Our usual time is the first and third Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm in the Game Room. In the meantime, we are learning each lesson by video. It is recorded on my phone and sent out on the same Thursdays of each month. The lesson questions are sent the day before. Our lessons are complete with each video, therefore, you will be able to start immediately with a new lesson. I look forward to hearing from you by email. Thank you for keeping in touch and supporting each other in prayer. Pending the orders from our State and County, we plan to resume our meetings in September. We have reserved The Summit for our Fall Potluck on Tuesday, Sept. 8, meeting at 6 pm. The regular Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 7 pm in the third section of the Ballroom. Jim Seim will be leading our study in the Psalms. We look forward to being together again. We invite all residents to join us for fellowship, discussion and learning from God's Word. Thank you! We are blessed to be able to get together this way, and we are slowly working out the bugs (echoes, static, etc.) We began our study of the Book of Isaiah on July 10, with an introduction of the Prophet Isaiah, his history and, per the accompanying handout which shows the map of Judah and Israel during the time of Isaiah's prophecies, as well as a list of the surrounding nations, capitals and kings, we were able to get the big picture of where and when this amazing book took place. Since Isaiah consists of 66 chapters, and we are studying three chapters a week, we estimate that this series will be completed by Dec. 11. If we are still in quarantine by December, more than likely we will not hold our annual Christmas party. However, looking at the calendar optimistically, we very well may have conquered COVID-19 by then! Our series on the Book of Daniel (End Times) will begin whenever we are able to physically gather together again — without masks. This study has been on hold for months now, but we are ever hopeful that one day we will be able to interrupt Isaiah to study Daniel.
