Do you need a temporary loan of medical equipment?
Helping Hands maintains an inventory of wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes and shower chairs for people living in Ocean Hills Country
Club. Call one of the volunteers listed at the end of this article and we will deliver to your door at no cost to you. You can help a neighbor in
OHCC by donating a clean, serviceable item that you are no longer using to Helping Hands. Check your storage areas for the items listed in
this article.

PLC President Ellen Kippel urges us to stay safe when walking dogs in the evening. Even
at dusk, just a few minutes after sunset, it can be very hard to see you walking in the village.
Drivers may not even notice the dog at your side. Attaching a small light to the dog's
collar makes them visible. The lights (with replacement batteries) can be purchased from
Ellen Kippel. Cost: $1 for PLC members and $2 for non-members.
Save the Date: Sat., Nov. 14 at 10 am for the Annual Board Meeting by Zoom. We need a
quorum to vote on the proposed slate of officers. Join us to help select the organizations to
support with our holiday funds. Ellen will send out notices of the Zoom contact information.
Dogs in the Courts: Some people using the courts have been bringing their dogs onto the
tennis/racquetball court next to the dog park. Others use the dog park as doggie daycare,
dropping off their dogs at the dog park, unsupervised, while they use the court. These are
against HOA rules. Anyone noticing these violations should call Community Patrol.
For questions or to join the PLC contact Ellen Kippel at (714) 893-7621 or email frizz9@
