| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2021 | 9 I'm sure it's no surprise to you readers that April has arrived and hopefully like that tune, "April Showers" will bring us some much needed rain. I believe the nice warm weather of March was in a COVID-19 quarantine, at least it seemed that most mornings were hugging 39 degrees, and were decorated with low hanging clouds when I was on my walk! I'll probably skip over April Fool's Day, and embrace Good Friday (April 3rd) in preparations of the glory and celebration of Easter Sunday (April 4th). Details for special menus for these holidays are not solidified as of this writing; I'm praying for the Bistro to be OPEN! Please keep abreast of the news, menu, and hours of operation through the BLAST or if you have questions, call the Bistro or front desk. Also, understand we have no control over when we may get back to full-swing (normal) operation; official notifications are received as to what is allowed at the moment or day. We have survived a full year of COVID-19 trying to beat us down; congratulations to us! Perhaps the year has been easier for us at Four Seasons as most of us are paycheck retired and are enjoying the escape of the daily grind of employment. We should consider ourselves lucky. Untold businesses have shuttered; others are on the verge of failing; once closed down, most will never return to their original glory. Our lost or closed down favorite restaurants and businesses will become a long lost memory. Francisco and his Bistro are a large part of the backbone of our community, patio parties, fundraisers, holiday celebrations, committee meetings and banquets all involving food which is right here at our beck and call. When I ask Francisco if he will prepare whatever choices you have requested for an event, his answer is always, "Whatever they want, I will make happen." Stop and think, "What would we be without the Bistro?" This is not "fake news;" Francisco and the Bistro need your business! The temporary schedule of being closed on Sunday and Monday is a grasp at conserving costs. It probably should have happened months ago. His loyalty to maintaining his staff has used up his small business loan and as responsible business people do when their income is short, they dig into their savings until that is gone. That point is now! Please return to him his faith that his dedication of being open seven days each week for your dining pleasure has been worth it. Please do your part by making more use of the Bistro now and in the future to keep Francisco and the Bistro alive; then he will survive. That's me, Patt double "T" Bistro Committee
