10 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | APRIL 2021 | Why Do We Have An Architectural Review Committee? Four Seasons at Hemet is an HOA (Homeowner's Association). When you purchased your home, you also purchased into the community. As homeowners, our resources extend far beyond the bounds of our homes and property boundaries, and include our private streets, community facilities including our Lodge, and recreation facilities, as well as our common area landscaping. Many homeowners value the quality of our community environment, its beauty, and the excellent upkeep that protects our property values. How is this accomplished? The Architectural Review Committee (ARC), as well as our Board of Directors, Facilities Committee, Access Control Committee, and Landscape Committee, and First Residential staff work in concert to ensure the continued upkeep and excellence of our neighborhoods. As part of our community operational documents, the Architectural Committee was established with the authority to review and approve (or not) all exterior modifications proposed by our homeowners. All homes in our community are inspected by our First Residential staff weekly for maintenance and compliance with our Architectural Standards and Regulations. In addition, homes listed for sale receive a specific inspection. If work has been completed without the required ARC approvals you will be notified by staff of any violation(s). It is your responsibility to correct the violation(s), either by seeking ARC approval of the completed work that is in violation, or removing the violation(s). Do not do work to your property without the required approvals. Your neighbors, nextdoor.com, your friends, or a member of the ARC are NOT THE PROPER SOURCE to determine whether you need an ARC approval. The only correct source to answer any questions regarding these issues is your Architectural Assistant, Maria Donti. IF IN DOUBT, ASK. You can make an appointment to speak with Ms. Donti at The Lodge at (951) 325-8188 or email maria.donti@ fsresidential.com. Thank you for helping us keep our Four Seasons community safe, quiet, and beautiful. Architectural Review Committee Our Mission: The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Program is designed to increase individual and community preparedness and self-reliance in the event of man-made or natural disasters. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has officially recognized CERT as an important part of a community's disaster preparedness readiness. Four Seasons CERT continues to need your participation. Become a Street Captain or CERT Auxiliary. Step up. Be a part of the best CERT in the valley, come make a difference. For more information visit https://fscert.org/cert-volunteer Learn how to prepare at fscert.org. Plan. Prepare. Survive. You can help yourself. If you don't have a mask, Riverside County has donated 2,000 masks to Four Seasons… pick one up from a Lodge attendant. Emergency preparedness committee Facilities Committee Many if not all members of the Facilities Committee are dedicated to the betterment of the community by using all of their life skills learned over many years, that being Safety/Operations/ Engineering plus many more! We must be effective in our approach to improving, repairing, or replacing of all items that make up the professional appeal of our outstanding Four Seasons of Hemet. As of the year 2020 we were able to complete many major projects in and around The Lodge. We are still committed to our meetings (via Zoom) two times a month to discuss current issues and future plans, like upgrading the chairs (fabric) in the Lobby. If you have any suggestions or items needing attention during your travels in and around the lodge and community, please stop by the front desk and fill out a Resident Communication form. The management staff will forward your concerns or suggestions to our committee. From all of us, please stay SAFE!
