By Cindy Graves I'm not sure if this Breeze issue will get to you on time, but hopefully it gets here before April 1 so you have time to make plans to participate in the "Moonlight April Fools' Glow Egg Hunt." If you haven't heard, my team and I will be going around the community, hiding 400 glow eggs that will be filled with jokes, finger lights, and notes redeemable for prizes at The Lodge. You can start looking for those eggs any time after 6:30 pm. Go out prepared with flashlights, remembering that the rules of social distancing apply and if you touch an egg, it's yours, don't leave it behind. I'll be back at The Lodge to redeem your prizes beginning April 2. I'm also excited about another silly competition we're doing called a "Peep Show Competition." If you go on the Activities Blast you can see what I mean. There is a national Peep Show competition held annually and Justin has put up some pictures and a link of those incredible art pieces made with marshmallow Peeps candies. We thought that it would be fun to hold our own Four Seasons competition and that's exactly what we're doing. I dare you artsy- crafty folks to try your hand at creating some type of art out of Peeps. When completed, take a few photos of your masterpiece, and email them to rachel.stone@fsresidential.com and include your name and project theme before Sunday, April 4. We'll be sending out a little survey for residents to help us judge and you'll get a chance to see some of the cool projects that folks have done. Three winners will be awarded "The Peeples Choice Awards" along with special prizes and a Kopper Kettle gift card on April 9, so keep your eyes open for upcoming info from the Daily Report Activities Blast. Our next showcased event is a workshop collaboration with Park West Landscaping. This will be very informative for some of you who are interested in knowing what plants grow the best and how to take care of them in our little Four Seasons micro-climate. This workshop will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, April 20 at 2 pm. Look for the Zoom link invitation in the Daily Report on the day of the event. Finally, as many of you know, we are having another wine tasting event, this time with Rutherford Wines out of Napa Valley. We'll be offering a flight of two white wines and three red wine four-ounce pours, artfully and tastefully arranged, in a curbside pick-up kit with a treat for $16.50. Because we had so many people who did this event last time with parties, we will be offering a special party package of five full bottles of wine (serves six) for $96. The Kopper Kettle is also going to be offering several different appetizer boxes to choose from and you can go directly to them for the purchase of those options. Heidi Daniels from Rutherford Wines will be our Sommelier for the evening educating us on the interesting facts and nuances of each wine. The ever-popular Teri DiMarino will also be joining us with some fun and funny foodie facts and pairings to add to the entertainment. It's going to be another fun night, so I hope you're able to make it. You can purchase your tickets at The Lodge from now until April 17. On Friday, April 23 from 12 noon to 3 pm, you can drive-through behind the Ballroom and we'll hand your packages to you. The actual wine event starts at 4:30 pm. Happy Hour time. See you there! As an ending note, I have been receiving multiple calls from residents requesting "Clothing Optional Events." Evidently, many people are getting used to dressing (or not) at home during lockdown. My response to these requests is that I can't imagine that these requested events will happen live; however, if you would like to attend a virtual Zoom meeting as a "clothing optional" event, you may… but for the sake of the rest of us, please keep your video off and enjoy your freedom if you must.
