| OHCC LIVING | MAY 2021 | 35 Bocce Club March Madness Bocce Tournament winners John and Dea Abdelaziz share a happy moment with the runners up, Ric and Barbara DuDeck. Past President Bob Bleything, center, joined us on the March Madness opening day to present John and Dea Abdelaziz with their Bocce King and Queen badges for 2020. John had a total of 128 and Dea 52. These badges will be part of the King and Queen awards going forward. Their new badges have "Bocce King 2020" and "Bocce Queen 2020" where the club badge has Ocean Hills Country Club. Congratulate them when you see them on the courts! After a long wait due to the pandemic, the club hosted their first tournament in 2021. March Madness had 16 Teams of two players each following all COVID-19 guidelines. Virtual meant each team picked their own players, registered through email and there were no "fans" watching the tournament.
