Work on the golf course steadily continues. It will be interesting
to see how the eighth hole will look after being lengthened to a par
four and how the tee box for number six will be redesigned. Since
there is so much golfer and machinery traffic entering and exiting
the course, we must remind our hot-rod single-rider cart people to
use the designated pathway to enter and exit the golf course and stay
off the sidewalks. Someone could be hurt otherwise.
Our summer events are piling up with the addition of the special
tournaments. The first special tourney is Mon., June 7 and Tues.,
June 8 hosted by Everett and Jeanie Murrell. Say thanks to the
Murrells when you see them for their effort. Of course, all volunteers
are welcome to make our golf tournaments run smoothly.

Let us give a shout out to Karen Davies for her hole in one in
the April 18 Guys and Dolls Tournament, and, why not, how about
another shout out to the roughly 140 golfers who didn't get a hole in
one that day.
