| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2021 | 3 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth, CMCA Now that summer is in full swing and we have triple digit temps, residents are taking advantage of the early morning and late afternoons to walk and exercise their dogs. I mentioned this in last month's article, and since we are still dealing with the pandemic, a reminder that when you are walking your dogs, do NOT allow them to relieve themselves on any resident's yards. I'm not talking about the main streets (Four Seasons, World Cup, etc.), I'm referring to the front and side yards of homes. This rule is stated in the current Rules and Regulations on page 10, Section 5.4 (first bullet). Please pick up your pet's droppings, take it home, and place it in your trash container. Rats, rodents, etc.: With the very dry season we're having, I want to remind residents who are leaving food out for pets, please know that the food will attract rodents, wild animals (possums, raccoons, etc.), and rats. Also, please keep an eye out if you have bird feeders. Some resident's yards are getting infested with rodents when they didn't have issues in prior years. If you are leaving your pets outside, please make sure they have enough water and place enough food for them to eat at one sitting. Do not leave food out overnight — that's when the critters are out. Excess bird seed also attracts animals so please keep the area under your bird feeders swept up. Staff Anniversaries: I'm very happy to announce several anniversaries this month. Maria Donti is celebrating five years with our company serving in several roles. One important role is the liaison to the Architectural Committee. She plays a vital role in supporting the ARC committee's review and enforcement process. The community has benefited from her work ethic and knowledge. Tracie Long, an important part of our front desk staff, is celebrating six years of service to the community and we are grateful to have her serving the residents. Both of these ladies are excellent examples of our company's core values. Thank you Maria and Tracie! We do have a couple of staff changes as well. I'd like to wish Katie Thomas the best as she leaves us to begin a new chapter in her life. I'd also like to welcome front desk attendants Jackeline and Nichole to our family. Please stop by and say hello. I am also happy and grateful to be celebrating my 22nd year of managing homeowner associations. The key to my survival in the HOA management business is being blessed to be a part of one of the best management companies in the U.S. I receive continuous training and education and am supported by a great upper management team and being fortunate enough to be of service to a lot of terrific residents. I'm also blessed to work alongside a great management staff and dedicated committee members and have the benefit of continued support from the Board of Directors throughout my 13 plus years at Four Seasons Hemet. Without your support and encouragement, this community would not be what it is today. Happy August, and keep being a good neighbor! RESIDENT SPOTLIGHT: YOUR CLAIM TO FAME. It is amazing the information we learn when reading a person's obituary. So many times we hear the comments about how we wish we knew this information before a person passed. In a community this size, we have an opportunity to meet and get to share common interests with those we may never have met. Please submit a small bio and picture to the Herald (300 word limit) by the 8th of the month. Email submissions to hemetherald@yahoo.com.
