computer club We're on spring schedule, meeting the first and third Thursdays of the month. On the summer schedule we meet once a month through September. All Sun Lakers are welcome to attend our meetings on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Prizes are given away at each meeting. Many new members have already paid their dues for the remaining six months. As a reminder, get your membership in, due and payable in June, in the amount of $7.50 pp. In Jan. 2014, membership dues will be owed once again for the entire year at a cost of $15 pp. June's meeting featured the International Dancers performing Chinese dances, and to keep with the theme, a catered Chinese dinner was served. Along with 50/50, a new card game was played, thanks to Ellie and Gerry Fawcett who taught us this new entertaining game. As always, we have our 50/50 each month, 7 tickets for $5. On July 5, the meeting will be a celebration of Independence Day with an all-American game of bingo. The menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, etc. Dessert will be pound cake with berries. Entry fees: $12 for single person, $14 for guests. Also, Paisano members are joining the Recreation Department on a trip to the Del Mar Race Track in August. Tickets will be sold in the Main Clubhouse beginning in September. Our last meeting is July 18, at 1 pm, in the South Clubhouse before rehearsals begin in August. Dues are payable by check only.
