44 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2021 Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in The Lodge Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members. Contact Steve Benoff at steve.benoff@verizon.net or (310) 413-4896. ~ Steve Benoff We hope to have a location approved soon and are working on our budget to make it a great addition to our community. Although still in progress, a steering committee is now meeting regularly and we welcome Martha Tureen as the president. Martha is a master gardener for Riverside County and we have several other master gardeners who have joined the group. If you are interested and have not yet signed up, please email Pat Wayne at pwayne1@outlook.com. ~ Pat Wayne Community Garden Club As we approach the new year, we should be getting ready to produce new shows for your enjoyment in 2022. For those of you who have not had the chance to enjoy a PAC show, we offer residents an opportunity to get involved in various theatrical shows that occur several times during the year. There are so many ways to participate, whether you wish to be in one show or many. All experienced performers and wannabes are welcome. You can create, produce, write, perform, work backstage in tech support, costumes, makeup, etc. We especially need volunteers to train to set-up our stage, curtains, and risers. Four Seasons offers anyone who enjoys singing or dance, drama, comedy or production to give it a try and come out to join the fun. Please feel free to be part of the supporting cast in our future endeavors to begin after the COVID break and into January of 2022. As of this writing, a Radio Theater Show will be presented in January. The cast of Hope for Tomorrow (HFT) will present HFT1 and HFT2 as we did on Zoom last year. For those of you who would like to be involved at the committee level of this club, please attend a meeting which will be announced in the next Breeze. I encourage you to contact me and get on our PAC email list so you can get all the updated information. Please call or email if you have any questions. ~ Marianne Bugni, (920) 517-2739 or email lamarib77@gmail.com Performing Arts Club
