| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | DECEMBER 2021 | 51 Lady Niners November was a busy month. The Lady Niners elected new officers for 2022. They are Judy Turner, President; Janet Catalano, Vice-President; Sue Stevens, Treasurer; Kim Egan, Membership; Candi Christopher, Secretary; Pam D'Arca, Handicap; and Charlie Vetter, Tournament. They will be sworn into office at the Christmas Luncheon on Dec. 10. With all of their new ideas and energy, the Niners are looking forward to an exciting year of golf. The Niners have the unique experience of playing nine holes of golf each Thursday on a championship golf course from the gold tees. Our GHIN handicaps are figures by combining two nine-hole rounds of golf. Lady Niners have tournaments such as Eclectics and club championships. We play scrambles, partners best ball, Scotch Doubles, etc. This means we are usually finished with our outings in about two hours. This makes it ideal to do some of the other things that clubs at Sun Lakes have to offer or just go shopping. A special thank you for the leadership of Dorice Parsek, President; Gladys Burks, Vice-President; Janet Catalano, Treasurer; Pat Hays, Secretary; and Teri Ochieano, Handicap/Tournament. They have shown tremendous leadership throughout their office terms. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas. Let's get out there and enjoy this wonderful place where we live! Gary Hamilton has a fun Trick or Treat game for us on Halloween (group photo above). He had all kinds of tricks on the course for us. Every hole had some kind of different shots on it. It was a fun tournament. As you can see, if you wore a costume you received a mulligan ticket. There was coffee and donuts before we teed off.
