Like receiving a beautiful bouquet of flowers every day, nature is God's gift to us. Getting out into nature is the gift we give ourselves. Share this Valentine's Day with your special someone, aiming Cupid's arrow into nature. Take a walk. Stare up into the clouds, imagining what their shapes remind you of. Pack a picnic and enjoy the quiet stillness of your surroundings. Plant something new together, reminiscent of a favorite memory, and watch it grow. Alone for the most romantic occasion of the year? Remind yourself you are your own best friend, and time spent celebrating "you" is time well spent. Do something special you've been putting off and enjoy your own company. Mail yourself a Valentine. Plant a special bloom in your garden and come spring, you will be reminded of how special you are. This month Valentine's Day falls on the second Monday, coinciding with our February meeting. Since Late Bloomers garden enthusiasts are never without creativity, something special will be in the works. Stay tuned to eBlast notifications… Late Bloomers meets every second Monday at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room, and we love to meet new people. Sharing gardening tips, traveling together and learning from each other are the seeds that continue to bloom among us. All Four Seasons residents are welcome to attend meetings and trips. For more information, please contact Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-0077 or Sharon@BlackDiamondInvestments.net. 16 16 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2022 | | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2022 | We want to thank the outgoing Board, and especially Lucille Gould, for their dedication these past few years to the FS Ladies Club. Job well done! Welcome 2022! What an awesome time in the Four Seasons Ladies Club. Your new president, Debbie Foster, is so excited! She is filled with great ideas that will launch our club into a 2022 phenomenon. Come and be part of this journey. Most women are retired in Four Seasons. Living here you can be as active as you want or as isolated as you desire. But on the fourth Monday of each month at 2 pm, women gather in the Ballroom to discuss interesting outings that appeal to most of us. We usually end our meeting with a game that brings about laughter. Summertime will include ice cream! Come and be part of this group. Debbie would like two outings a month. One here in town and then branching out to include interesting sites. Our outing in February to The Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens in Fallbrook has been canceled. I really should say delayed. Due to COVID complications, the Estate & Gardens have restricted the number of visitors. Moving forward, we will schedule what we can, when it is possible. Members of the club can join us on our outings. To be a member, you pay your dues and come to our monthly meetings as often as you can. For more information about our club, call Debbie Foster at (805) 406-6581. Our club isn't all fun and games (just mostly); we have always had a philanthropic side. There are so many well deserving programs that need help. Debbie has ideas to share for us to vote on. Do you have ideas? Places you would like to visit? Then come share them, we welcome your input. This is my first FS Ladies Club article. I write as I speak and as I am. I get excited about everything. We are just getting to know each other as a Board. I asked Debbie, "What is important to you as our new leader?" Her reply was the word acceptance. "We accept all women equally who come." My kind of woman! This is a difficult time in the world. I have always found that laughter lightens our trials in life. Without humor life would be too hard. We extend the invitation to come and laugh with us. We truly are FS sisters. Hope to see you next month. ~ Cookie FS Ladies Club Late Bloomers Garden Club Happy Happy Valentine's Day Valentine's Day
