8 | LIFE IN SOLERA | JULY 2022 | Communication & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) The Solera Oak Valley Greens Board of Directors created the Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) to research, develop, and improve existing and new communication media for the community. During the month of April, a Life in Solera Satisfaction Survey was conducted to get feedback from the community on their level of satisfaction with the magazine. While the vast majority of the survey participants are satisfied with quality and content of the magazine, there were a significant number of issues communicated. The survey, including a complete listing of all comments received were provided to the editor of the magazine and a comprehensive response was promptly received. The results of the survey along with responses from the editor and publisher of the magazine have been posted on the website. The Committee continues to work on several other projects. At this moment, the Committee is concentrating on developing recommendations on how the sound quality can be enhanced in the Oakmont Multipurpose Rooms and methods we can employ to create a high-quality broadcast of Board Meetings so that these meetings can be viewed in the comfort of residents' homes. Become PART OF THE TEAM If you have any interest in serving on our committee and helping out with some projects similar to the ones mentioned above, please complete an Interest Form and turn it in at the administrative office at your earliest convenience. (Interest forms can be picked up at the Administrative Office, downloaded from the Solera website, or completed online at soleraovg.com/volunteer-interest-form.) For additional information on the Committee, go to www. SoleraCTAC.com or join us at one of our meetings held on the first and third Monday of each month starting at 10 am in Oakmont III. You are welcome to attend. Also, you can go to the new "Committee Minutes" link on the Solera Website to peruse minutes from CTAC meetings. "Effective communication - a key ingredient in building trust and harmony." ~ Dennis Rice, Chairperson CTAC Presents Surf the Web: Our Solera Website The Solera website (www. SoleraOVG.com) has many features chosen to meet the needs of the Solera community. CTAC has chosen this month to highlight two features: the new link to "Committees Minutes" and the link to "Sign Up for eBlasts." "Committees Minutes" is a new link that has been added to the Solera Website under the "Publications" drop-down menu on the homepage of the site. There are several committees that serve the Solera Board of Directors and the community as a whole. These minutes provide insight into the issues being worked by these Committees. It is important to keep in mind that those who serve on these Committees are volunteering their time and skills to serve the community. You are encouraged to review the minutes included and give some consideration to getting involved and providing service to the community. Another very important link on the home page of the Solera website is the "Sign Up for eBlasts" link. When you complete this simple form, you will receive weekly emails from the General Manager with upcoming events and important information on various things happening in the community. There are also emails sent on other important issues that may arise. Don't miss out! Sign up today! ~ Dennis Rice, Chairperson COMMITTEES MINUTES & SIGN UP FOR E-BLASTS!
