Fall is the best time to freshen up the garden. Clean out the summer weary annuals and get new plants established before winter. But there's
never really a bad season in the garden!
It's also the perfect time to stop by the Garden Club's plant sale, on Sept. 17 in the overflow lot during the OH Flea Market. There will be an
assortment of succulents and potted plants, as well as pots and garden art, to bring new interest to your fall garden.
The September Garden Club speaker will be Ron Mantranga, a certified arborist with Atlas Tree since 1983. Ron has vast experience
working with residential, commercial, and historical trees and sites. Ron will share his knowledge and answer all your questions regarding
trees in OHCC and beyond. The meeting is Sept. 14, 9:30 am, social and 10 am, speaker. We welcome new members to join year-round, just
stop by the membership table at the September meeting.
Save the date for the annual Garden Club Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 14, catered by The Village Pie Shop. It's always a sellout event, so be
watching for more information regarding the program and ticket sales.
