We are a welcoming, diverse, and friendly social group who enjoy playing a variety of card and board games, great food, and good times. No experience necessary. We will teach any novice, and you'll catch on fast. While the majority of current members primarily play a card game known as Bid Whist, we encourage all our participants to explore their preferences for other table games as they are inclined. You will have fun, enjoy good company and great food (potluck). If you just want to talk, eat, and catch up on the goings on, that's very much okay too. So, what's your pleasure: Bones/Dominoes, Bridge, Spades, Uno, Backgammon, Checkers, Cribbage? Regardless of your experience level, please join us for an afternoon of exciting and spirit lifting camaraderie. We had 18 dedicated and responsible pet owners. We introduced ourselves and told a little about our pets and shared some funny stories. We were fortunate to have Dee Reno with Aspen, a service dog in training, at the meeting. Dee shared a lot of information on service dogs and training them as well as our non-service pets. We are looking forward to bringing in trainers, vets and specialists to help us care for our four-legged babies. Tracie Long gave us some samples of the yummy treats she makes for dogs. My two loved them! One of our goals is to make all pet owners responsible pet owners. Our next meeting is Jan. 5. Hope to see you there.
