require the water to be shut off. This will affect the Clubhouse, Corte Inspirada and Corte Cordoba. This will require the Clubhouse to be closed from 8 to 5 pm on Jan. 24. Approved. Sports Court Rules Amendment, 30-Day Member Comment: The Rules and Regulations Committee, Racquet and Pickle Ball Clubs, and the Recreation and Fitness Committee amended the existing Article 3 Sports Court Rules. Approved the rules for 30- Day Member Comment. Members can reference the proposed rules amendments on page 10 of The Colony News. Golf Carts Rules Amendment, 30-Day Member Comment: The Rules and Regulations Committee amended the Article 4.5 Golf Cart Rule for Board review. The change would allow one permitted golf cart to park on the driveway, and it must be operable. Approved the rule change for 30-Day Member Comment. Members can reference the proposed rule amendments on page 10 of The Colony News. Gazebos, Arbors, Pergolas, 30-Day Member Comment: The Architectural Control Committee presented proposed amendments to Article 15.6 Gazebos and Arbors. The changes will include Pergolas and better clarify the definition of each of these home improvements. They also added 15.5.5 regarding items affixed to or hung from these structures. President Dalfonso questioned the newly proposed rule and would like better clarification on the structure. Tabled the matter for further clarification. Copier Proposals: HOA Management Office copier is showing signs of wear and tear with the continual high volume of copying and printing. Presented proposals from Office1, CBE Office Solutions and C3Tech for Board review. Approved CBE Office Solutions proposal to lease for 36 months the Sharp BP-70C65 at a monthly lease amount of $550 pre-tax (8.75 percent), which includes the current copier lease payoff and shipping of the equipment back to DLL. Monthly Maintenance Agreement is $35.20/month, which includes unlimited on-site service calls, parts, labor and toner. It also includes 4,000 free black and white copies per month. Black and white images are $ .0088/page and Color images are $ .065/ page. 2023 PCM-Associa Holiday Schedule: Management presented the 2023 PCM-Associa Holiday schedule for Board review. Approved. Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 16 Memorial Day: Mon., May 29 Floating Holiday: Mon., July 3 Independence Day: Tues., July 4 Labor Day: Mon., Sept. 4 Thanksgiving Day: Thurs., Nov. 23 (Clubhouse/Pool/Spas Closed) The Day after Thanksgiving Day: Fri., Nov. 24 Office Holiday: Fri., Dec. 22 Christmas Day: Mon., Dec. 25 (Clubhouse/Pool/Spas Closed) Office Holiday: Fri., Dec. 29 New Year's Day: Mon., Jan. 1, 2024 (Clubhouse/Pool/Spas Closed) Fitness Center Improvements: The Recreation and Fitness Committee met with the equipment contractor to review the needs and changes of the community since the equipment was purchased in 2016. They recommended that one recumbent bike, stretch table and Ab/Back machine be replaced with a Power Plate Pro7 (refurbished), massage table, ballet barre, and stretch trainer. Approved proposal from The Dumbell Man in the amount of $9,244.29 for the replacement equipment. Community Wide Yard Sale Policy Review: Management presented a recommendation which would allow the yard sale to be open to the public, since the current policy does not allow this. Residents seem to enjoy the annual event, but often inquire why the sale cannot be open to residents of Murrieta. A common response is that seniors want to sell their excess items, not buy from their neighbors. This may be the reason for a decline in yard sale participation. Last year there were only 30 households registered for the sale. Tabled for further research. Vice President Position: Due to the recent resignation of Joanne Deacon from the Board, the position of Vice President became available. President Dalfonso requested nominations from the Board for Vice President. Director Gregg Ross was nominated. There were no further nominations.
