What a terrific show and great attendance we had. e Dowagers did not disappoint anyone involved or in attendance for this show. anks to the playwright, director, cast and crew for making this a fantastic performance. Although we are "dark" for the remainder of the summer. We still have monthly Board meetings and other going projects for September and onwards. Our goal is to provide entertainment that is funny, fun, meaningful, unusual, exciting, educational, and thought-provoking. While you are vacationing, hitting the beach or pool, hiking, camping, going to the movies or just relaxing, the eatre Arts' Club continues to search for fun, interesting, enlightening and entertaining talent! is fall we are excited to host the National Digital Photo Academy of San Diego. is organization specializes in teaching digital photography. Founder Richard Rabinowitz is preparing an amazing array of digital photos of San Diego County, including sunrises, sunsets, flowers, nature, wildlife, architecture, and street portraits. Also, this fall, we have singer Francesca Amari joining us! Francesca is a versatile singer/cabaret artist from Palm Springs, CA. Francesca performs regularly as a jazz/pop singer or with her "Cocktails & Cabaret" show. She has performed at top-rated cabaret clubs from New York to Hollywood and has earned rave reviews for her entertaining shows. e eatre Arts Club continues to search for local talent; theater group Center Stage Productions is working on another presentation for our group, and we are still in negotiations with the San Diego Civic Youth Orchestra! e Orchestra offers student musicians of various skill levels the opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency for receptive audiences in a variety of locations throughout Southern California. Don't forget to mark your calendars… We look forward to seeing you the first Monday in September! Our next regular Board meeting will be held Aug. 16, at 11 am, in a room to be assigned. Regular Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of the month at 11 am, and are open to all eatre Arts members, so please do come and join us.
