Did you know that the most significant historical building in
the San Jacinto Valley, and among the most significant in all of the
Inland Empire, is the Estudillo Mansion in San Jacinto?
Did you know that this magnificent two-story brick mansion
was built in 1885 as the centerpiece of Francisco Estudillo's 35,000
acre Rancho San Jacinto Viejo land grant?
Did you know that the Estudillo Mansion, and beautifully
landscaped Heritage Park grounds, is now owned by the City of
San Jacinto and open to the public every Saturday from 11 am to
4 pm?
And did you know that the grounds of the mansion are home
to a FREE concerts-in-the-park series called Kool August Nights
every Wednesday evening in August?
e Kool August Nights concert series has been taking place
every August for 10 years and is a wonderful way to spend a
summer evening listening to great live music as the sun is setting.
is year, every August Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, the
public is invited to listen to some of the best bands in the region
play live music, ranging from oldies to pop to classic rock to
country.
In addition, the Hemet San Jacinto Valley Chamber of Commerce
sponsors a Beer & Wine Garden with a lovely area to enjoy some
great libations, and there are also food trucks and vendors at every
show. ere is plenty of free, safe parking at the mansion.
Enjoy touring this historical landmark on Saturdays and be sure
to enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds which the City of San
Jacinto maintains as an educational water conservation garden.
And be sure to bring your chairs and blankets any Wednesday in
August for a magical and FREE evening of music and fun!
