Despite the heat, July 1 brought out Paddle Tennis enthusiasts for
our Round Robin Luck-of-the-Draw Doubles Tournament. This was
a casual yet competitive tournament. Seasoned and new players
joined in the fun. Tournaments are a great way to showcase your
skills and enjoy the sport with other enthusiasts. We had 16 players,
and all were cheered on by family and other players.
A big shout out to the tournament planning committee and to
all who helped out during our tournament. With your help, it was a
great success. Also, thanks to our players that stepped in to substitute
at the last minute. Snacks and refreshments were provided by the
planning committee. A big thanks to Howard who volunteered his
photography skills.
Our first place winners were Jerome and Stan, and "I almost won"
Tim and Alan.
We welcomed our three new players: Larry and Bernadette Martin
and Bruce Karp.
We have a fantastic group of players, so come on over and join in
the fun. Currently you will find games starting at 6 pm on Mondays,
Wednesdays, and Fridays and some on Saturdays and Sundays. No
reservations required. We are more than happy to provide some
