Our Local Artist Concert Series was a huge success. Patricia Jewel performed Gems of Stage
and Screen. It was amazing! All arrangements were unique to this dynamic team. We started
with Gershwin and ended with songs like, Make Someone Happy by Jule Styne and For Good by
Stephen Schwartz. My favorite number was "Come Down from the Tree" from Once On is
Island. Patricia sang with a luxurious tone and extraordinary interpretation and Elan dazzled
us by performing an original Gershwin arrangement, straight from the "corner of the room". (If
you understand this, you were there.)
Wow, that was a fast summer! It's time for the Chorale to start rehearsing again for our very
special concert on Dec. 10. We have some fun pieces planned and hope that those who love to
sing will join us. e first rehearsal is on Sept. 7 at 10:15 am. If you're new, come early and we'll
make sure you have everything you need, or you can just listen in and decide later. Rehearsals
are a perfect blend of hard work and humor! at deep breathing we do during rehearsals is just
