| THE COLONY NEWS | SEPTEMBER 2023 | 23 Beginners Italian Language Class By Ornella Atwell Our Italian language class has been enjoying a well-deserved summer vacation. We will be resuming later this fall. Learning a new language provides multiple benefits and advantages and joining this class may allow you to attain some of these. For instance, if traveling to Italy, it may make your next trip easier to navigate and allow you to communicate with locals and share a few laughs in their native language. Even if no trips are planned, learning a new language will stimulate your brain, challenge your memory, improve your cognitive skills and slow down their decline. But another benefit is you will be meeting new neighbors and having FUN while you learn! is is a beginners class, and though you will need to purchase the book we will use, Easy Italian, Step-by-Step by Paola Nanni-Tate, the class is FREE. Join us! I will provide more details in the October issue of e Colony News. If interested, please text me at 951-236-3922, or email me at: nella2004@icloud.com or nella2004@sbcglobal.net. Please list your name, telephone number and email. Grazie.
