Dec. 10 – San Diego Boat Parade of Lights – SOLD OUT; wait list available We will be traveling down to San Diego to see the Annual San Diego Boat Parade of Lights from the decks of the Berkeley, a ship permanently docked in the Bay. Dinner is included. Aer dinner, we'll enjoy the boat parade decorated for the holidays as they pass by both sides of our boat. Trip cost is $135. Jan. 8, 2024 - KICK-OFF Our 2024 Travel Club Kick-Off will be held on Mon., Jan. 8 in Abravanel Hall. Doors open at 5:30 pm, and the buffet begins at 6 pm. Our program starts at 7 pm, and our Club President, Callie Dean, will share pictures and highlights of our Club trip to New Mexico. Our buffet dinner includes salad, garlic knots, baked lasagna with meat sauce, pizza (including cheese), ice cream bar, so drink and coffee. is event is only open to 2023 Travel Club members or to new members who pay the $10 per person Travel Club dues for 2024. e cost is $5 per person. Please put your check(s), made out to the OH Travel Club, in the Travel Club envelope at the Clubhouse on or before Sat., Dec. 23, along with a check for the 2024 dues if you were not a Club member in 2023. Your check registers you for this event. Checks will not be accepted aer Dec. 23. Jan. 13, 2024 – Do Dues Day Please stop by our table to get a flyer highlighting our Trip plans for 2024! Regarding our wait lists, we frequently have people on a trip who need to cancel. So, many people on our wait lists actually do get the opportunity to go on the trip. To be placed on the waitlist, leave a check made out to the OH Travel Club, with proof of vaccination attached, in the Travel Club Envelope at the Clubhouse front desk.
