FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2024 59
Good ping pong players all do the same thing. They keep their eye on the ball. Taking your eye off the ball for even a fraction of a second
can spell your doom. Here are a few of our players that are pros at keeping their eye on the ball whether playing ping pong or just doing life.
Come give ping pong a try. We play Monday through Saturday from 2 to 4 pm at The Courts. For more info, contact Niles at (818) 826-1380.

I was able to fish at a fishing derby at Lake Havasu in
May. After two days of fishing, my partner and I were able
to catch 22 pounds of striper bass. We ended up winning
$464 dollars in prize money. I also won a real nice fishing
net and hat in a raff le. All in all, it was fun fishing.
At Lake Havasu the weather in May is really hot. The
days we were there the temperature was in the 80s. Talk
about climate change. The wind blew us off the lake both
days. We were lucky to get a few hours of fishing time.
The fishing derby at Lake Elsinore was May 18. I will let
you know if I did any good in the next article. This derby
will benefit charity, so I will donate to the cause. Hopefully
I will report that I won something.
I plan on doing a great deal of fishing this summer. I will
call all my fishing buddies to set up some trips.
To all my fishing friends, remember, if you feel like going
fishing, just do it. ~ Richard Carrasco, ricarrasco52@
