58 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2024 Curly Cues Billiards Our ladies group has grown and we can now play doubles on some of our Mondays. It is so much fun to have so many ladies playing each week. Curly Cues will also have some of the ladies playing in the Senior Olympic Games in Hemet and will have a report in the next month's Breeze. We play on Mondays at 11 am and continue until 1 pm in the Billiards Room at The Lodge. Come on down and start your Mondays with a fun group of ladies playing pool. There is always room for more ladies to join. No experience necessary and no pressure; we just want to have fun! For more information, contact Barbara Morton at (559) 269-0908 or barb93720@yahoo.com. ~ Barbara Morton Wild Bunch Billiards Looks like the new nine-foot billiards tables are a success and everyone's game is improving. The "Wild Bunch" is in full swing, and we look forward to having those who are serious and competitive billiards players join us. We enjoy playing 8-Ball, Scotch Doubles, and 9-Ball. You don't have to be the best player, just a player who wants to improve their game in a more competitive setting. The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the league, and we are always looking for great competition. If you want to play serious, competitive pool, we invite you to come by the Billiards Room on Fridays from 12:30 to 2:30 pm and join in the stimulation of competitive play. Looking forward to seeing you! ~ Gracy Luna, gracyluna@aol. com, (951) 292-3624 Ladies Putters The August heat was relentless, but the Ladies Putter Group could not be deterred from playing. Our group also decided to participate in the Inaugural Four Seasons Oldympics by creating a fun Four-Round Putting Event for late September. Our event was open to both men and women who are residents of Four Seasons. We should have photos and results in the next issue of the Breeze. Come on out and join us. It's a low-impact, "high fun and social" group, and the best part is no experience is necessary. We have extra putters and balls if you'd like to come out and give it a try. Our 9-hole putting green is located at The Courts, behind the pool area. Our putting days/times are Mondays at 4 pm and Fridays at 9 am. For more information, please contact Bonnie Brown at (951) 337-0833 or Elaine Brown at (626) 589-9791. ~ Phyllis Kates Cornhole is a fun sport to play, easy to learn, and easy to play. You can meet your neighbors and learn a new sport at the same time. We organized the group to make it easy to join us as a single or a couple because we place you with a new teammate each week. Don't want to play? Bring a chair and be a spectator. We enjoy meeting new people each week. Join us on Tuesday nights at 5 pm at The Summit. No cost, no equipment needed. Just bring a chair. We will hold our Olympic event on Oct 8. If you would like to see what we are all about, come out and watch. Or, if you have played before but never joined us, you are welcome to register to play in the tournament with a teammate of your choice. Registration form and entry fee of $5 must be received by Oct. 4. If you need more information about registering or if you have any questions regarding our regular meetings, please call or text Pat Barry at (951) 388-0441. ~ Pat Barry Beaumont Bagger Cornhole Group Judy Dalton, Craig Korotko George Blake Bob Dalton Our "Closest to the Pin, without going in" competition has really become competitive, so much so that we had to take a page from ocial LPGA and PGA Events … hence the need for QUIET signs.
