8 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2025 | On urs., Dec. 12, we held our biennial Charity Holiday Luncheon. 130 ladies and gentlemen attended this event. We had 12 hostesses that decorated their tables with holiday cheer. An extra centerpiece was made by co-chair Christine Sullivan for the table that didn't have a hostess. e room was beautiful. Francisco's Catering made a delicious lunch of Chicken Francese. So many attendees raved about how delicious it was. We had one game, a purse scavenger hunt by table, that really had us digging into our purses! ere were 10 winners of rae prizes, too. Our charity this year was Valley Restart Shelter. e Director, Javier Lopez, gave a power point presentation explaining how they help individuals and families. As a result, we were able to donate $2955 to the Valley Restart Shelter along with some sets of linens. Many thanks to the hostesses of the tables: Geri Richmond, Chris Sullivan, Hortencia Roesier, Priscilla Hieber, Sharon Sims, Barbra Balser, Sue Muschello, Sue Watt, Brenda Beers, Linda Elliot, Linda West, Paulette Deerios. Aargh! It was a clear and shivery night when the Black Ships arrived at Four Seasons to welcome the new year. Pirates came dressed in their nery. Seinfeld was in the house with his uy shirt. Black bearded Jay was there, and so was boatswain mate Russ, along with shipmates John, his wench, Janet, and others of their crew. Along with the Polder clan and many more, intermingled with the more genteel residents of Four Seasons, we all dined on Chef de Francisco's beef, fowl, and sh dishes; sang and danced to the cacophony sounds played by Four Seasons regular collective known as the Lifetime Rockers. At the senior hour (9 pm) and again at midnight we toasted and sighed the passing of 2024, and greeted and cheered 2025, for we knew, as always, it was going to be a great year! You are not going to want to miss this event. Dueling Pianos have a returned appearance at Four Seasons on Fri., Feb. 21. An all-request, high-energy show of pianists and crowd interacting promises to make you laugh, and sing at the same time. Tickets are currently on sale at $15 per person. is is an open-seating event.
