FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MARCH 2025 29 Landscape Committee Spring is coming! Thanks to the Park West team for their annual seasonal color installation at The Lodge and The Summit. We know everyone is looking forward to seeing what they have in store for Four Seasons in 2025! Spring time is a time to plant color around your home. Even when you live in a home where the HOA landscaper Park West maintains your front yard (the Front Yard Cost Center [FYCC]), you are always welcome to plant annuals. Annuals are f lowering plants that complete their whole life cycle in one year, growing from seed in spring, blooming in summer, and dispersing seeds before dying in fall. Unlike slow-growing perennials (plants that grow for multiple years), annuals put the "petal to the metal" to give your landscape immediate color from late spring until fall. Annuals are considered as seasonal color in HOA documents. Let's make spring 2025 something to talk about! We all play a role in making our community a beautiful place. Note that you are always welcome to join our monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of every month (e.g., March 18, April 15 [celebrate tax day with us], and May 20). ~ Nancy Justice Finance Committee My dedicated staff have completed our financial budget for 2025 and reviewed all finances for 2024. I appreciate their hard work and their willingness to continue for another year. We ended 2024 with an excellent financial outcome. The financial statements for December, 2024, were reviewed and recommended for Board approval. In addition, the committee reviewed expenditure proposals for various recommended projects in the community. We also reviewed investment recommendations to move maturing investments to higher yield FDIC insure instruments. Highlights of the December financial statements are: Total Cash is $11,846,332 including operating cash of $1,964,811 (checking and CDs) and reserve assets of $9,864,383, and reconstruction assets of $17,138. Our total year-to-date current income is $(30,492). There will be some adjustment to these numbers before the statements are finalized, Homeowners are welcome to join us at the Finance Committee's regularly scheduled monthly meetings held on the last Tuesday of each month. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, March 25 at 1 pm in the RCN Conference Room. The Finance Committee reviews and discusses many issues that you may have questions about. Residents are welcome to attend one of our meetings to become more familiar with our finances. At the beginning of each meeting, we allow three minutes per homeowner, not to exceed 30 minutes in total for comments.
