| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2025 | 29 Golf Cart Club Parades: is month's opening paragraph about the Golf Cart parades contains the same message as last month's Herald: Nothing new to report, a quiet time regarding any Golf Cart Club parade activities. No golf cart parades until the July 4th event. It still seems far o, but it will be here before you can blink. Next month (July Issue) a detailed description will be presented. Flag Angels: e Flag Angels also have had a bit of a break, but they are scheduled to post ags at the end of this month for Memorial Day, with ags up Sat., May 24 and ags down Tues., May 27 throughout the community. A couple of months ago, I started to highlight each of the "Flag Angels" in the Herald. I also pointed out a common characteristic that all Angels seem to share: the level of involvement in the community. As you know, many of the community activities are possible because of the residents' involvement, the perfect combination of a terric Social Activities Director (Tracie Rodgers) and enthusiastic and involved residents. e Flag Angels are a perfect illustration of this phenomenon. ey put up and take down a staggering 13,000 ags throughout the year (every residence and Four Seasons and World Cup eight times a year and just World Cup and Four Seasons three times a year). And yet on many occasions, they are, or have also been, on the Board of Directors, on the Social Committee, on the Access Committee, on the Public Facilities Committee, President, and multiple elected positions, ocers of the Golf Club… well, you get the idea. I would end up listing almost every committee and club. is month's Angels are Denise and Bob Levesque. ey are relatively new Angels, just over a year. ey jumped in from the substitute list with no hesitation and are doing a super job! ey have been a Hemet 4 Seasons resident for 10 years, moving from Orange Crest in Riverside. ey place ags in the Legends West area. e next time you see Bob or/and Denise, give them a well-deserved "thank you!" e Flag Angels ranks are constantly changing. We have lost a number of angels due to assorted reasons. I have been able to replace those angels because substitutes volunteered to take a route full time (the Levesque's for example). If anyone is interested in being a Flag Angel, I could still use a volunteer or two as substitutes. If you would be willing to help provide this very popular service, please call me (951) 973-4149, or email me at mikemcla43@aol.com. ~ Submitted by Mike McLaughlin, Hemet 4 Seasons Golf Cart Club/Flag Angels Golf Cart Club Denise & Bob Levesque
