We're back at it! Following a short,
well-deserved break, we are again working hard to provide you with
entertainment that is creative, funny, fun, meaningful, unusual,
exciting, educational, and thought-provoking. We'll shortly be
asking for new talent to join us – perhaps, even those with musical
talents!
Upcoming events:
On Aug. 4, at 7 pm, Charmayne Huntley will present her talented
Actors' Workshop members through various scenes from Neil
Simon's The Odd Couple – Female Version, for which they have
been preparing. Come and support your friends and neighbors, as
they entertain you.
The world première of Starlight's, a brand-new play written by
Janet Tiger just for OHCC, and directed by Patricia Moran Collins,
will be performed in Abravanel Hall on Oct. 17 and 18. Stay tuned
to your emails and tubes for details as they emerge.
Adrienne Nims will be making a return
engagement on Oct. 6. Keep your eyes and ears
open to find out what she's offering.
All members are welcome to join the Theatre
Arts Wednesday classes, which meet from 1 to 3
pm on the second and fourth Wednesday of the
month. Actors' Workshop is led by Charmayne
Huntley (CharmayneHuntley@gmail.com), and
Playreaders is led by Anita Simons (ASimonSays@gmail.com).
Please check your emails each month for dates, topics and room
assignments.
Our next regular Board meeting will be held Aug. 16, at 11 am, in a
room to be assigned. Regular Board meetings are held on the third
Wednesday of the month at 11 am, and are open to all Theatre Arts
members, so please do come and join us.
Join Theatre Arts so you can participate in all of our entertainment
and activities. Our annual dues are currently $15. With that small
amount, you will enjoy all membership privileges. Make your check
payable to "OH Theatre Arts" and bring it to the front desk. Include
your name, address, email, and phone number on the check.
