32 | THE COLONY NEWS | DECEMBER 2025 | Racquet Club By Karen Nichols, 619-550-8194 As 2026 approaches, let's take a moment to appreciate and thank the wonderful friends we have on the courts. They are not only friends but competitors, which makes it even more a pleasure to head for the courts in the mornings. Our main objective is to have fun and get some exercise in our awesome California weather. Drop in on Paddle Tennis and check it out; it's a great game! For more information, give me a call. Our last tournament for the year was in November, and the winners, Wendell Jackson and John Gonzales, tied. Congratulations to you both! Thank you, Herb and Jeanne, for running the tournaments for us this year; you both did a great job. We will see you all at our Christmas dinner on Thursday, Dec. 4, at 5:30 pm in the Auditorium. If you can't join us, we hope you have a lovely holiday season with friends and family. There will not be a Paddle tournament in December or January.
