Have you ever wondered if we have
a Terramor Library? Thanks to 55+
resident, Sophie Richardson, the "new and
improved" Terramor Lending Library is
under development!
Sophie and her husband, Lanny, moved
to the Irontree neighborhood five years ago
after living 44 years in Rowland Heights.
In her "past" life, Sophie was a school
librarian and teacher at an American
military school in Germany. She recalls
teaching the Dewey Decimal System to her
students!
Her background struck an interest in
volunteering to expand our current lending
library here in Terramor where anyone can
take a book and under an honor system,
return it when they have finished using it.
Her vision is to include fiction as
well as non-fiction offerings, which will
include travel, cooking, and biographical
selections. Games, puzzles, and children's
books will also be available.
There will also be an opportunity
to donate books to the library once a
designated space has been assigned for
the expanded collection. The Terramor
Lending Library is located in the Lounge
at the Veranda Clubhouse. Stay tuned for
