16 TERRAMOR BEYOND THE GATES | SUMMER | JULY 2026 Celebrating Community rough Juneteenth: Six Years of Music, Food, Fun, and Connection in Terramor For the past six years, a dedicated group of Terramor homeowners has come together with a shared purpose: to create an event that celebrates culture, community, and connection. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into an annual Juneteenth celebration that brings neighbors together for a day filled with music, food, games, and fellowship. Through fundraising, volunteerism, and a commitment to inclusivity, these residents have worked to create an event that welcomes everyone and reflects the diverse voices that make Terramor such a vibrant place to call home. Juneteenth, which commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States, is a celebration of freedom, resilience, and hope. In Terramor, it has also become an opportunity to strengthen community bonds, learn from one another, and celebrate the richness of our shared experiences. Over the years, the event has featured live entertainment, family- friendly activities, delicious food, and opportunities for neighbors to gather, connect, and create lasting memories. While the celebration honors an important moment in American history, it has evolved into something even greater within our community, a tradition that brings people together. The success of the event is a testament to the homeowners who dedicate countless hours planning, fundraising, organizing, and volunteering to ensure each year's celebration is meaningful and memorable. Their efforts have helped create a welcoming atmosphere where residents of all backgrounds can come together in the spirit of unity and appreciation. As Terramor continues to grow, the annual Juneteenth celebration serves as a reminder that our community is strengthened by the relationships we build, the stories we share, and the traditions we create together.
