Our mission is to provide a complimentary service that brings a little "Sunshine" following an illness or surgery. We provide non-emergency transportation for local errands, medical appointments, as well as orchestrating meal trains for those in need. Errands shall be tailored to the unique requirements, guided by the discretion of our volunteers. Donations are accepted. Funds to benefit Club activities and services. Wish to volunteer? When Reverend Dan Clary and his wife, Heidi, moved to Terramor, they had a vision from God of starting a group that would be a "light" for the community. They decided to form "A Family of Believers" as a support system for 55+ residents who are seeking a relationship with God or who don't have a church home. Rev. Clary started the group as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is a non-denominational group that brings together people under the Banner of Christ, focused on "unconditional love." They believe the group should not be political but stand on the Biblical word of God. That is what they teach at their gatherings. Sermons are designed to encourage and help members to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Light refreshments are provided at their meetings on the first Friday of the month at 9:30 am in the South Wing of the Terrace Club. Sunshine Club 55+ A Family Of Believers 55+ You don't need to be creative to make your own custom cards. The Card of the Month Club class participants get to make three custom greeting cards at every class. All supplies are provided including a "kit" that you will take home with you. No creativity or specific skills needed! But you will learn different techniques, have fun, meet new friends and impress your friends with a homemade card. You will be able to say, "I made that!" Card of the Month Club 55+ Who doesn't like a fine wine? Our Carpe Vinum Wine Club members would agree with that! The club's purpose is to share good wine with 55+ neighbors in a fun and festive atmosphere at the Terrace Club's South Wing. They sponsor at least three wine tasting events throughout the year in addition to their December Holiday Gala. A visit to Oak Mountain Winery in Temecula is planned for Aug. 20. Our members will sit amongst the wine barrels in the Oak Mountain Cave and sample several wines, enjoy charcuterie, and have a tour of the winery. Attendees at the events held at Terramor are encouraged to bring an appetizer to share. And there may be a few games and/or door prizes included during the evening event.
