FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2026 65 Paddle tennis players participated in the annual HOA Oldlympics. To beat the heat, the tournament was played in the evening. Lots of fun, competition, and laughter. Thank you HOA for sponsoring this fun event. Congratulations to the Oldlympics overall winners: Gold - Keith Linton and Josie Beauchamp Silver - Stan Lam and Lizzie Carbajal Gallegos Bronze - Steve Hovey, Phyllis Kates, and Richard Carrasco ~ Lizzie Gallegos Paddle Tennis We had an energetic, competitive, and exciting time on Sept. 3. It was our FS Oldlympics Ping Pong Tournament. The players exhibited excellent skills, stamina, and determination to finish to the end. We have good-hearted players and they cheered from the sidelines. We had food to keep our energy up and the opportunity to chat a little with our friends. All in all, it was a wonderful time. We look forward to the Awards ceremony on Oct. 22 to receive our well-deserved medals. Perry White and Niles Sundstrom organized the play. It's not an easy task. They made sure we were at the right table at the right time. Also, they kept track of the scores to determine the winners. We would not have had a tournament without them. We appreciate their efforts and are grateful. The medal winners are: Men's Singles: Gold, Paco; Silver, Niles; Bronze, Perry. Men's Doubles: Gold, Paco and Soo Lee; Silver, Niles and Alan; Bronze, Harvey and Perry. Women's singles: Gold, Jeanine; Silver, Julia; Bronze, Sally. Women's Doubles: Gold, Julia and Sally; Silver, Harvey (he volunteered to fill in the gap) and Jeanine; Bronze, Lisa and Mary. Come join us in The Courts. We have extra paddles.
